Let me begin by telling you a little about myself.

I was born in Anchorage, Alaska on August 6th 1972. My father John Ihrig was in the Air Force. This afforded me the opportunity to do massive amounts of travel, as I was growing up.

I have lived in :

I came to Columbus Ohio in 1991. To study Fine Arts / Painting at Columbus College of Art & Design. I attended there for a few years before leaving to pursue studies at Columbus State Community College new media program.

After a few years in different print shops I picked up html around 1996. Since then it has been a none stop learning process. I picked up Coldfusion while working for NBBJ in 1998 from the advice of a friend Michael Grundvig. After the first three, painful months learning the basics I finally built my first application. A knowledge base, to track internal knowledge of TriForma & other CAD information. Since then I have built some 60 odd applications.

I enjoy Hiking & camping throughout Ohio, Kentucky & West Virginia. I make it a point to get out & hike at least once a month, if not more. I also enjoy hunting for morels [edible mushrooms]. I have recently begun to brew all grain beer, and enjoy it immensely. I am also into gaming, weather it be Wolfenstein or any of the other dozens of first person shooters. I have run & maintained game servers for 5 years.

I still have a lot to learn, hopefully I can find a group to work with that I can learn & grow with.

I look forward to speaking with you in person.

Have a great day
